(57) Abstract Use of a photodegrading agent comprising a copolymer of one or more vinylidene monomers and carbon monoxide for en- hancing the photodegradablility of a thermoplastic polymer characterised in that the photodegrading agent is a polyketone which is a linear copolymer consisting of units -CO(A')- where (A') is derived from a vinylidene monomer (A) represented by general formula (I), where X is selected from hydrogen and alkyl and Y is selected from hydrogen, alkyl, aryl, cycloalkyl, substituted al- kyl, substituted aryl and substituted cycloalkyl groups.
