A carton for packaging a plurality of individual containers, comprises wall panels forming a surrounding side wall so that the carton has opposite first and second ends. First and second end closures respectively enclose the carton interior such that individual containers may be received therein. An expansible section formed in the surrounding side wall has a collapsed orientation such that the interior of the carton has a first volume operative to package individual containers in closely packed relation, and has an expanded orientation such that the interior of the carton has a second volume greater than the first volume. A securing element such as a tacking adhesive holds the expansible section in the collapsed orientation yet releasable to allow it to be moved into the expanded orientation.
Une boîte en carton pour emballer une pluralité de récipients comporte des panneaux verticaux formant une paroi latérale périmétrique de sorte que la boîte a un premier et un deuxième bout opposés. Les panneaux du premier et du deuxième bout enferment respectivement l'intérieur de la boîte de sorte que les récipients peuvent y être reçus.
