L'invention concerne un procédé de pultrusion pour fabriquer l'âme composite d'un câble conducteur aluminium à âme composite (ACCC), ce procédé étant amélioré grâce au remplacement de l'opération d'imprégnation traditionnelle par trempage de la fibre dans un bain de résine liquide par une opération d'imprégnation par pulvérisation haute pression. Dans un mode de réalisation préféré, la fibre est déployée en filaments constitutifs et la résine est pulvérisée sur ces filaments déployés au moyen d'un pulvérisateur haute pression. Les filaments ainsi pulvérisés sont ensuite rassemblés par passage à travers une série de plaques de préformage, puis la fibre rassemblée traverse une filière pour une première mise en forme et réticulation.
