Central bodies (6, 7) forming the crotch of a trunks type wearing article (1) are respectively fabricated from first and second subsheets obtained by bisecting the width of a web along a quasi sine curve, the web being continuously fed in one direction. The first and second subsheets are joined together at their crests of the lateral edges describing the quasi sine curve so as to form a laminated sheet, which is then cut widthwise.

On fabrique respectivement les parties centrales (6, 7) constituant la fourche d'un vêtement (1) de type caleçon à partir d'une première et d'une deuxième feuilles secondaires obtenues par division en deux parties égales de la largeur d'une bande le long d'une courbe quasi-sinusoïdale, l'alimentation en bande s'effectuant en continu dans un sens. On réunit cette première et cette deuxième feuilles secondaires au niveau de leurs crêtes des bords latéraux décrivant la courbe quasi-sinusoïdale, de façon à obtenir une feuille stratifiée qu'on coupe ensuite dans le sens de la largeur.
