The exhalation collected in a breath bag capable of expansion and contraction as much as given volume (Va) is sucked into gas inlet vessel (21). Subsequently, the gas inlet vessel (21) is communicated by means of valve (V2) with cell (11) having been maintained at atmospheric pressure by pre-filling with a sample gas or reference gas. After the communication, the gas pressure is measured by pressure sensor (16) fitted to the cell (11). Whether the exhalation collected in the breath bag is below given amount can be accurately judged.
Selon l'invention, l'expiration collectée dans un sac de respiration capable d'une expansion et d'une contraction autant qu'un volume donné (Va) est aspirée dans un récipient d'arrivée de gaz (21). Par la suite, le récipient d'arrivée de gaz (21) est mis en communication au moyen d'une valve (V2) avec une cellule (11) ayant été maintenue à la pression atmosphérique par un remplissage par avance avec un gaz échantillon ou un gaz de référence. Après la mise en communication, la pression du gaz est mesurée par un capteur de pression (16) adapté à la cellule (11). Le fait que l'expiration collectée dans le sac de respiration soit en dessous d'une quantité donnée peut être évalué précisément.
