New pharmaceutical compositions in unit dosage form are disclosed for both intraoral and oral administration to a patient, said unit dosage form configured to be placed intraorally of said patient. The dosage form is as described in Figure 1, which comprises: (a) as a first portion, at least one discrete molded triturate tablet comprising a therapeutically effective amount of at least one pharmaceutically active ingredient capable of intraoral administration ; and (b) as a second portion located around the said first portion, a therapeutically effective amount of at least one p harmaceutically active ingredient capable of oral administration and which is releasable and orally ingestible by the patient after the molded triturate tablet has disintegrated or has dissolved intraorally.
Cette invention a trait à de nouvelles compositions pharmaceutiques se présentant sous forme posologique pour administration intra-orale et par voie buccale. Cette forme posologique, qui est conçue pour être placée intra-oralement, se compose, (a), d'une première partie constituée d'au moins un comprimé trituré moulé renfermant une quantité efficace du point de vue thérapeutique d'au moins un ingrédient actif pouvant être administré intra-oralement et (b), d'une seconde partie enrobant la première contenant une quantité efficace du point de vue thérapeutique d'au moins un ingrédient actif pouvant être administré par voie buccale, lequel se libère et peut être ingéré oralement par le patient une fois le comprimé trituré moulé désagrégé ou dissous intra-oralement.
