A system and method are provided for transducing vaginal conditions, affecting vaginal or body conditions, and/or stimulating perineal musculature and nerves. A separate, portable, non-implanted intravaginally containable combination probe and transceiver (211) is provided that can sense vaginal conditions, can deliver signals or medication, and/or can stimulate perineal musculature and nerves. This probe unit is provided with 2-way wireless communication for transmitting information that is transduced and for receiving control and programming signals. In addition, a separate combination controller and transceiver (22) is provided for wirelessly sending signals to the probe unit and for receiving signals therefrom. A real time wireless signal feedback loop is thus provided between the controller and the probe and/or external devices, networks and databases.
L'invention concerne un système et une méthode de transduction d'un état vaginal, de modification d'états vaginaux ou corporels, et/ou de stimulation des muscles et des nerfs de la région périnéale. L'invention concerne également un dispositif portable (21) séparé combinant une sonde et un émetteur-récepteur, non implanté et pouvant être contenu dans le vagin, destiné à détecter un état vaginal, délivrer des signaux ou des médicaments, et/ou stimuler les muscles et les nerfs de la région périnéale. Cette unité de sonde est équipée d'un dispositif de communication sans fil bidirectionnel de transmission d'information transduite et de réception de signaux de commande et de programmation. Un dispositif séparé (22) combinant une unité de commande et un émetteur-récepteur sert à envoyer par ondes hertziennes des signaux à l'unité de sonde et à recevoir des signaux de celle-ci. On obtient ainsi une boucle de réaction de signaux sans fil en temps réel entre l'unité de commande et la sonde et/ou des dispositifs, des réseaux et des bases de données externes.
