ABSTRACT of the DISCLOSURE A collapsible accordion-like commercial planter for tuberous vegetation such as potatoes to permit planting without digging holes for planting, while allowing harvesting to be carried out by overturning the present invention or occasional earth cover of the growing plants to be performed when necessary. The planter further comprises imbedded hoops at predetermined intervals to retain a vertically expandable capacity for additional earth cover and plant growth, the uppermost hoop or hoops being formed to include handles and woven reinforcement bands linking each lower hoop such that the integrally fastened fabric or synthetic outer shell would maintain its' integrity since it would not be required to fully support the total weight of earth and plant growth upon being moved, raised or overturned. -1-
