The invention uses a rolling track consisting of articulated links supported by wheels which roll on an elliptical rail. The rail is elliptical with a curve toward the ground so as to allow only one point of contact with the ground, thereby reproducing the movement of the working part of a wheel with respect to any obstacles to be overcome. In this manner, only one link at a time is in contact with the ground, providing control on friable or slippery terrain. The elliptical rolling track can be used on all types of terrain and in all weather and can be used as a drive system on single-track motorcycles, pedal-drive vehicles, wheelchairs, garden vehicles, sports and recreational vehicles and others.

L'invention utilise une chenille roulante de maillons articulés supportés par des roues qui roulent sur un rail elleptique. Le rail est elliptique avec une courbe en direction du sol de façon à permettre le contact d'un seul point avec le sol et ainsi reproduire le mouvement de la partie utile d'une roue par rapport aux obstacles à franchir.
