A method of monitoring a tap changer in which measured values representing the status of the tap change operation are associated with positions of the tap changer and the position range or time range for the tap change is subdivided into partial intervals for which characteristic values of the measurement are calculated by a calculating rule, e.g. averaging. These characteristic values are compared with stored parameter data and operation categories are established which are then used exclusively for the further information processing.

La présente invention fait état d'une méthode de surveillance d'un changeur de prise. La méthode associe des valeurs mesurées représentant l'état de l'opération de changement de prise à des positions du changeur de prise. La fourchette des valeurs de positions ou de temps de changement de prise est divisée en intervalles partiels pour lesquels des valeurs caractéristiques de la mesure sont calculées au moyen d'une règle de calcul, par ex., le moyennage. Ces valeurs caractéristiques sont comparées à des données de paramètres mis en mémoire afin d'établir des catégories d'opérations qui servent par la suite exclusivement au traitement supplémentaire de l'information.
