A novel method to noninvasively measure intracranial pressure (ICP) and more generally brain elasticity is disclosed. ICP is determined using an algorithm coupled on a simulated artificial neural network (SANN) that calculates ICP based on a determination of a set of interacted ultrasound signals (IUSs) generated from multiple ultrasound pulses. The methods and systems of the present invention are capable of rapidly determining ICP without manual review of EPG waves by a technician.

La présente invention concerne un nouveau procédé de mesure non invasive de la pression intracrânienne (ICP) et plus généralement lélasticité du cerveau. La pression intracrânienne est déterminée au moyen dun algorithme couplé sur un réseau de neurones artificiels simulés qui calcule la pression intracrânienne sur la base dune détermination dun ensemble de signaux ultrasonores générés à partir dune pluralité dimpulsions ultrasonores. Les procédés et systèmes selon la présente invention sont capables de déterminer rapidement la pression intracrânienne sans révision manuelle dondes EPG par un technicien.
