Improved stabilizer compositions which impart superior oxidative stability to polyolefins used for wire and cable insulation are provided. The stabilizer compositions are a mixture of a diacyl hydrazine compound and an alkylenebisacylamide compound. The stabilizer combinations are particularly useful for propylene polymer insulation compositions, Polyolefin compositions stabilized with the stabilizer combinations of the invention and jacketed construction utilizing same are also disclosed.
L'invention concerne des compositions stabilisantes améliorées conférant une stabilité oxydative supérieure aux polyoléfines utilisées pour l'isolation de fils et de câbles. Ces compositions se présentent comme un mélange de composé diacyl hydrazine et de composé alkylènebisacyclamide. Elles sont particulièrement utiles pour les compositions isolantes en polymère de propylène utilisées dans les structures de câbles à âme pleine. L'invention concerne également des compositions de polyoléfine stabilisées au moyen des compositions stabilisantes décrites, et des structures enveloppées d'une chemise réalisée avec de telles compositions.
