An electrical connection for use in boreholes or other remote environment has a a first connection assembly having a first (18) and second (34) connection assemblies having a first and second conductive members. The two conductive members are movable to form an electrical contact. Also provided is a means for urging dielectric fluid around the electrical contact formed by the first conductive member and second conductive member as the first and second conducting members are moved together.

L'invention porte sur une connexion électrique destinée à être utilisée dans des trous de forage ou d'autres environnements distants, comprenant un premier ensemble de connexion comportant un premier (18) et un second (34) ensembles de connexion comportant des premier et second éléments conducteurs. Les deux éléments conducteurs sont mobiles de façon à constituer un contact électrique. L'invention porte également sur un moyen de sollicitation d'un fluide diélectrique au voisinage du contact électrique constitué par le premier élément conducteur et le second élément conducteur lorsqu'on déplace ensemble les premier et second éléments conducteurs.
