Disclosed are intermediates useful for producing substituted indoles as phosphodiesterase type IV inhibitor. The intermediates are represented by the formulae (see fig. VI) and (see fig. VII) wherein R9 is hydrogen or (C1-C6)alkyl, R15 is oxygen or hydroxyl and the broken line represents a double bond when R15 is oxygen.

On dévoile des intermédiaires utiles pour produire des indoles substitués comme inhibiteur de phosphodiestérase de type IV. Ces intermédiaires sont représentés par les formules (voir fig. VI) et (voir fig. VII) où R9 est un hydrogène ou un alkyle en C1-C6, R15 est un atome d'oxygène ou un hydroxyle et la ligne tiretée représente une double liaison lorsque R15 est un atome d'oxygène.
