The invention relates to a method for authenticating the user (U) of a terminal (2), connected to an Internet-type network, said method comprising the steps of: establishing (E15) a communication channel in a secured mobile telephone network (GSM) between a portable device (2) of the user (U), located near the terminal (2) and an authentication unit (1), downloading (E30) of an auto-executable digital code by the terminal (2) from said authentication unit (1), transmitting (E40) a sound signal by the portable device to the authentication unit (1), said signal being generated (E35) by the terminal (2) from the digital code and of authenticating the user (U) from the sound signal (E40) received via the mobile communication channel (GSM) and from a portable device identifier (GSM_No).
Ce procédé d'authentification de l'utilisateur (U) d'un terminal (2) connecté à un réseau de type Internet comporte les étapes suivantes : établissement (E15) d'un canal de communication, dans un réseau de téléphonie mobile sécurisé (GSM), entre un équipement portable (2) de l'utilisateur (U) situé à proximité du terminal (2), et une unité d'authentification (1) ; téléchargement (E30), par le terminal (2), d'un code numérique autoexécutable à partir de ladite unité d'authentification (1) ; envoi (E40), par l'équipement portable, à destination de l'unité d'authentification (1), d'un signal sonore généré (E35) par le terminal (2), à partir du code numérique ; et authentification de l'utilisateur (U), à partir du signal sonore reçu (E40), via le canal de communication mobile (GSM) ; et d'un identifiant (GSM_No) de l'équipement portable.
