A portable, baseball hitting, practise device which will return the ball to its original position after being struck. The device is comprised of a baseball with an elastic cord passing through it with slidable clamps on the cord at each pole of the ball. The clamps allow selective positioning of the ball to accommodate the height of the hitter. The cord is anchored at the bottom by a ground screw or indoors by a screw eye bolt to a base. The cord is attached at the top to a, steel or equivalent, ring on a swing bar which is arched to allow for a striking area and is inserted loosely into a verticle pole, which allows the curved swing bar to swing when the ball is struck, then return to its original position. The verticle pole is welded to a circular plate which is bolted to a base plate and both plates sandwich a rubber-like disc that will absorb the shock of the ball being struck. The base plate is anchored to the ground or base by ground screws or lag bolts.
