A system and method for categorizing content on a webpage is disclosed. The method comprises receiving a re-quest for a webpage from a user's computer. Next, the system determines whether there is dynamic content on the webpage by an-alyzing the address, links, reputation, type, style and other indicators of being able to easily change the webpage. If the webpage contains content that can be changed, then the webpage is analyzed to determine a current categorization thereof. If the webpage does not have dynamic content then the categorization of the webpage will remain the same thereby freeing system resources by only analyzing dynamic webpages.

L'invention porte sur un système et sur un procédé pour catégoriser un contenu sur une page Internet. Le procédé comprend la réception d'une requête pour une page Internet provenant d'un ordinateur d'utilisateur. Ensuite, le système détermine s'il y a ou non un contenu dynamique sur la page Internet par analyse de l'adresse, des liens, de la réputation, du type, du style et d'autres indicateurs susceptibles d'être capables de changer facilement la page Internet. Si la page Internet contient un contenu qui peut être changé, alors la page Internet est analysée pour déterminer sa catégorisation courante. Si la page Internet n'a pas de contenu dynamique, alors la catégorisation de la page Internet restera identique, libérant ainsi des ressources de système par analyse uniquement des pages Internet dynamiques.
