ABSTRACT There is provided a method and apparatus for detecting differences between two images, irrespective of whether the images relate to a displacement difference, a contents difference or a color difference. The apparatus utilizes detecting lenses mounted in a frame along with means for directing or separating the line of sight of a view in an arrangement such that a two images form an overlapped ocular image wherein the differences present themselves in the overlapped ocular image as differences in depth and/or a mixture of color such that specific features can be detected.
