A method of measuring the instantaneous parameters of a consumable electrode (1), said method including the steps of: (a) providing a laser measuring means (15) and positioning the laser measuring means in the vicinity of the electrode to be measured; (b) activating the laser measuring means to obtain data relating to the instantaneous parameters of the consumable electrode; and (c) transferring the data obtained from the laser measuring means to computer data processing and storage means to determine the instantaneous parameters of the electrode.
L'invention concerne un procédé destiné à mesurer les paramètres instantanés d'une électrode fusible (1). Ce procédé consiste : (a) à fournir un dispositif de mesure laser (15) et à positionner ce dispositif à proximité de l'électrode à mesurer, (b) à activer le dispositif de mesure laser de manière à obtenir des données concernant les paramètres instantanés de l'électrode fusible, et (c) à transférer les données obtenues au moyen dudit dispositif vers un dispositif de traitement de données informatiques et de stockage afin de déterminer les paramètres instantanés de l'électrode.
