A double check (70) valve is integrally located in a spring brake chamber to reduce plumbing associated with a pneumatic brake system. Anti-compounding is provided by virtue of a bias pressure of approximately twenty to thirty psi between a pressure chamber (52) of a service actuator (44) and an operating chamber (66) of a parking/emergency actuator (46). Likewise, vehicle roll-back is addressed since the transition from a service application to a park application assures that the service brakes are sufficiently applied until the spring brake becomes operative.
L'invention concerne un clapet double (70) installé intégral dans une chambre de cylindre de frein à ressort pour réduire le nombre des conduites liées à un système de freins pneumatiques. L'invention met en oeuvre un système de non-addition des efforts de freinage grâce à une pression de sollicitation d'environ 20 à 30 psi créée entre une chambre de pression (52) d'un actionneur de service (44) et une chambre de travail (66) d'un actionneur de parking/d'urgence (46). On résout également le problème de recul du véhicule grâce au système qui assure la transition de l'application de service vers l'application de parcage de manière à appliquer un freinage suffisant jusqu'à ce que le cylindre de frein à ressort se mette en action.
