ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A golf club where an engaging piece integrally constituted with a shaft rod inserted into and fixed to the point of a hollow and cylindrical club shaft formed in a convergently taper shape is mounted on the club shaft through the shaft rod. An engaged portion is constituted so as to form a circular sectional shape in turn ranging from the engaging piece having the point formed in a non-circular sectional shape to a portion of the club shaft. An internal surface conforming to the engaged portion is constituted so that the sectional shape ranging to a concave place formed at an opening on the side of the sole surface comes to a non-circular sectional shape of the point of the engaging piece with respect to a through hole provided in a neck portion of the club head. The club shaft is connected to the club head with a bolt screwed into a screw hole formed in the end surface of the engaging piece in a condition that the engaging piece is inserted into the through hole.
