A child-resistant compact for dispensing product on blister cards includes a first portion (48 or 152) having a first panel (51 or 153) hinged to a first clamp (66) for capturing an end of a first blister card (44), and a second portion (50 or 154) having a second panel (55 or 155) hinged to a second clamp (111) for capturing an end of a second blister card (46). The first and second clamps are connected to each other such that the first and second panels form a chamber for enclosing the blister cards. At least one child-resistant latch is on the periphery of the panels for opening one or both panels with respect to the clamps for access to the blister cards. The first and second portions of the compact preferably are of integrally molded plastic construction, either separate from or integrally with each other. The at least one chid- resistant latch preferably includes a first latch (52 or 156) at an end of the compact opposite from the clamps and second latches (54, 56 or 196, 198) on opposite sides of the compact, preferably requiring simultaneous activation to open the compact. The panels preferably include a guide (132, 134 and 136, 138)adjacent to the first latch for aligning the panels as the compact is closed to facilitate interengagement of the latch elements on the panels.
L'invention concerne un boîtier à l'épreuve des enfants permettant de distribuer des produits en blister qui comprend une première partie (48 ou 152) munie d'un premier panneau (51 ou 153) articulé à une première pince (66) afin de saisir une extrémité d'un premier blister (44) et une seconde partie (50 ou 154) munie d'un second panneau (55 ou 155) articulé à une seconde pince (111) afin de saisir une extrémité d'un second blister (46). La première et la seconde pinces sont reliées entre elles de sorte que le premier et le second panneaux forment une chambre servant à renfermer les blisters. Au moins un verrou à l'épreuve des enfants est monté sur le pourtour des panneaux afin d'ouvrir un ou deux panneaux par rapport aux pinces afin d'accéder aux blisters. De préférence, la première et la seconde parties du boîtier sont entièrement en plastique moulé, soit séparées l'une de l'autre, soit formant une seule pièce. De préférence, le ou les verrous à l'épreuve des enfants comprennent un premier verrou (52 ou 156) à une extrémité du boîtier opposées aux pinces et de seconds verrous (54, 56 ou 196, 198) sur les côtés opposés du boîtier, demandant de préférence une activation simultanée afin d'ouvrir le boîtier. De préférence, les panneaux comprennent un guide (132, 134 et 136, 138) adjacent au premier verrou afin d'aligner les panneaux lorsque le boîtier est fermé et de faciliter ainsi le verrouillage mutuel des éléments de verrouillage sur les panneaux.
