The view-through cellular window covering (10) includes a plurality of cells (12) arranged parallel to one another. Each cell (12) has at least one side (22, 24, 26, 28), and a joint (31) unites adjacent sides of each cell (12). The adjacent sides of each cell (12) are pivotable about the joint (30) such that each cell (12) is variably adjustable between a collapsed position and an opened position. A first cord (14) includes a plurality of elements (32) positioned therealong, and each of the elements (32) is engaged to or otherwise attached to one of the upper sides (22, 24) of a corresponding one of the plurality of cells (12). A second cord (16) includes a plurality of members (34) positioned therealong, and each of the members (34) is engaged to or otherwise attached to one of the lower sides (26, 28) of a corresponding one of the plurality of cells (12). By longitudinally moving the cords (14, 16), the plurality of cells (12) can be adjusted between the collapsed position, where adjacent cells (12) are separated, and the opened positioned, where adjacent cells (12) contact one another. By collapsing and expanding the cells (12), the window covering (10) of the present invention can achieve adjustable light-control, modulatable view through, light diffusion, excellent insulation value, all in an aesthetically pleasing design.
La présente invention concerne un couvre-fenêtre cellulaire translucide (10) comportant plusieurs cellules (12) disposées parallèlement les unes par rapport aux autres. Chaque cellule (12) comporte au moins un bord (22, 24, 26, 28), et un joint (30) relie les bords adjacents de chaque cellule (12). Les bords adjacents de chaque cellule (12) pivotent autour du joint (30) pour que chaque cellule (12) puisse être orientée de façon variable entre une position repliée et une position déployée. En repliant et en déployant les cellules (12), ce couvre-fenêtre (10) peut offrir une régulation lumineuse, une translucidité et une diffusion lumineuse modulables, un excellent indice d'isolation, tout en étant esthétiquement élégant.
