An improved athletic sock (15) comprising a foot portion (16), a leg portion (18) extending upwardly from the foot portion and having an open end (20) and a cuff (19) at the open end, the cuff comprising an absorbent band (17), a notch (21) extending longitudinally from the open end down part of the leg portion, the notch defined by a left edge (22) and a right edge (23), and a detachable fastening portion (24) adapted and configured to restrain the right and left edges from moving apart when the fastening portion is in a fastened position.
L'invention concerne une chaussette de sport (15) améliorée comprenant: une partie pied (16); une partie jambe (18) s'étendant vers le haut à partir de la partie pied et présentant une extrémité ouverte (20) ainsi qu'un revers (19) au niveau de l'extrémité ouverte, ledit revers comprend une bande absorbante (17); une partie échancrée (21) s'étendant longitudinalement à partir de l'extrémité ouverte vers le bas de la partie jambe, cette partie échancrée étant définie par un bord gauche (22) et un bord droit (23); ainsi qu'une partie de fixation détachable (24) adaptée et configurée pour empêcher les bords droit et gauche de s'écarter lorsque la partie de fixation se trouve en position de fixation.
