A regenerative type carbon dioxide separator and a carbon dioxide separating system, capable of reliably effecting carbon dioxide separation with extremely high efficiency by a much simpler arrangement than in the prior art. Carbon dioxide in exhaust gases can be absorbed and separated by defining a high temperature region and a low temperature region around a rotor and simply rotating the rotor. Therefore, it is possible to realize a maintenance-easy, highly reliable absorption separation system which can be extremely simplified, greatly reducing regeneration costs. The same effect can also be attained by a stationary arrangement. Further, the use of lithium zirconate, alkali metal oxides and/or oxides of alkaline earth metals as an absorption- separation agent provides chemical and mechanical stability and enables reversible stabilized absorption and release of carbon dioxide.
Cette invention a trait à un séparateur de dioxyde de carbone du type régénérateur et à un système de séparation du dioxyde de carbone, à même de procéder de manière fiable à une séparation du dioxyde de carbone et ce, avec beaucoup d'efficacité, à l'aide d'un dispositif bien plus simple que ceux relevant des techniques existantes. Il est possible d'absorber le dioxyde de carbone présent dans les gaz d'échappement par constitution d'une région haute température et d'une région basse température autour d'un rotor et par mise en rotation du rotor. Il est, de la sorte, possible de produire un système de séparation hautement fiable, d'un entretien facile et pouvant être extrêmement simplifié, ce qui réduit notablement les coûts de régénération. Il est possible d'obtenir les mêmes résultats au moyen d'un dispositif immobile. De plus, l'utilisation de zirconate de lithium, d'oxydes de métal alcalin et/ou d'oxydes de métaux alcalino-terreux comme agent d'absorption/séparation assure une stabilité chimique et mécanique et facilite une absorption stabilisée réversible ainsi que la libération du dioxyde de carbone.
