A prosthesis, useful as an implant, comprises a peripheral silicone membrane (1) filled with a number of small individual closed cells (5) with a thin silicone membrane and filled with a biocompatible fluid, said small cells (5) being distributed around a central compartment (4) delimited by a closed, relatively thick silicone membrane (6,7), said compartment being filled with an adjustable quantity of a physiological solution. The prosthesis can be adjusted as to its volume and shape by insertion or extraction of liquid into, or from, the central compartment through a self-sealing silicone membrane without the need of surgery. The prosthesis also overcomes the danger of major loss of fluid due to leaking or rupture of the membrane.
