A screw (6) extending through the knuckles (1a, 1b, 3a) of the arm hinge of a pair of spectacles and having a threaded end (6a) screwed into one knuckle (1b). The part of the screw (6) that extends beyond said knuckle (1b) has an annular groove receiving a circlip (9) which engages the outer surface (7) of the knuckle (1b) to prevent inadvertent loosening of the screw (6) with its head (6b) held in engagement with knuckle (1a). The size of the annular groove receiving the circlip (9) is such that said groove is partially located within the knuckle (1b). As a result, should the assembly become loose, it can be tightened again by replacing said circlip (9) with another slightly thicker circlip.
La vis (6), qui traverse les charnons (1a, 1b, et 3a) d'une charnière de branche de lunettes, a son extrémité (6a), filetée, qui se visse dans le charnon (1b). Cette vis (6) dépasse le charnon (1b), sa partie débordante présentant une gorge annulaire dans laquelle est engagé un circlip (9). Ce dernier prend appui contre la face externe (7) du charnon (1b) et empêche que la vis (6), au demeurant bloquée par sa tête (6b) en appui contre le charnon (1a), ne vienne à se desserrer intempestivement. La hauteur de la gorge annulaire dans laquelle est engagé le circlip (9) est telle que cette gorge est en partie située à l'intérieur du charnon (1b). Il résulte de cet agencement que si l'assemblage vient à prendre du jeu, il est possible de rattraper ce jeu en remplaçant le circlip (9) par un circlip d'une épaisseur légèrement supérieure.
