The present invention, discloses an anastomosis clip applicator device (134) for applying a surgical clip (12), formed at least partly of a shape memory alloy, to press together adjacent wall portions of adjacent hollow organ portions so as to effect anastomosis therebetween. The applicator device (134) includes: gripping apparatus for gripping a surgical clip (12), a release mechanism, associated with the gripping apparatus, and tissue cutting apparatus (124), operatively associated with the gripping apparatus. There is also apparatus for activating the gripping apparatus, the release mechanism and the cutting apparatus, so as to introduce and apply the surgical clip (12) into adjacent hollow organ portions, such that the surgical clip (12) compresses together the adjacent walls of the hollow organ portions, and thereafter causes the cutting apparatus (124) to perforate the adjacent pressed together organ walls to provide patency through the joined portions of the hollow organ.
L'invention concerne un dispositif applicateur (134) de clips d'anastomose permettant d'appliquer un clip chirurgical (12). Ce clip est constitué au moins en partie d'un alliage de mémoire de forme. Ce clip permet de presser ensemble des parties de parois adjacentes de parties d'un organe creux adjacentes de façon à effectuer une anastomose entre les deux. Ce dispositif applicateur (134) comprend un appareil de serrage conçu pour serrer un clip chirurgical (12), un mécanisme de libération associé à l'appareil de serrage, et un appareil de coupe (124) de tissus associé fonctionnellement à l'appareil de serrage. L'invention concerne également un appareil permettant d'activer l'appareil de serrage, ledit mécanisme de libération et l'appareil de coupe. Le clip chirurgical (12) est ainsi introduit dans des parties d'organe creux adjacentes, de sorte que le clip chirurgical (12) comprime ensemble les parois adjacentes des parties d'organe creux. L'appareil de coupe (124) perfore alors les parois d'organes adjacentes pressées ensemble de façon à apporter de la perméabilité au moyen des parties reliées de l'organe creux.
