This process involves at least one first decompression/first recompression step by pressure equalization between two adsorbers (2A to 2D), and drawing off of production gas at a continuous flow during the adsorption phase. During the first decompression, the production gas that is drawn off is directed to a parallel auxiliary capacity (6) mounted on the production pipe (1) and adapted to be connected to the downstream outlet of each adsorber (2A to 2D). During a second recompression step, the drawn off production gas is introduced, under countercurrent conditions, into the adsorber, which is simultaneously connected to the auxiliary capacity. Application in the production of hydrogen from a continuous flow gaseous feed mixture.

Ce procédé comporte au moins une étape de première décompression/première recompression par équilibrage de pressions entre deux adsorbeurs (2A à 2D), ainsi qu'un prélèvement d'un débit constant de gaz de production pendant la phase d'adsorption. Au cours de la première décompression, le gaz de production prélevé est envoyé à une capacité auxiliaire (6) montée en parallèle sur la conduite de production (1) et adaptée pour être reliée à la sortie côté production de chaque adsorbeur (2A à 2D). Pendant une étape de deuxième recompression, l'adsorbeur reçoit à contre-courant le gaz de production prélevé et est simultanément mis en communication avec la capacité auxiliaire.
