A method and apparatus are provided for continuously and quantitatively supplying bread dough. The apparatus comprises a pressing means that comprises two movable means, one of which is at least one roller or one belt conveyor, and the other of which is at least one belt conveyor, said roller being adapted to rotate about its own axis to apply a force to pull bread dough downward and said belt conveyor being adapted such that its conveying surface moves from above downward to apply a force to pull the bread dough downward, and which two movable means are oppositely positioned in a generally horizontal direction, both or either of said two movable means being adapted to reciprocally move in a generally horizontal direction to increase and decrease the distance between said two movable means, thereby preventing the pressure on said bread dough positioned between said two movable means from being increased so as to allow said bread dough to flow stably downward from therebetween.

Le dispositif de cette invention comprend un mécanisme de compression formé de deux éléments mobiles, dont l'un est constitué par au moins un cylindre ou une courroie et l'autre par au moins une courroie, ledit cylindre tournant autour de son axe de manière à exercer sur la pâte une force l'entraînant vers le bas et ladite courroie étant animée d'un mouvement entraînant la pâte vers le bas, lesdits éléments mobiles étant disposés l'un en face de l'autre, la position de l'un ou de l'autre ou des deux pouvant être réglée pour augmenter ou diminuer l'écartement entre eux, afin de permettre le passage de la quantité de pâte voulue.
