An automated teller system comprising a user identification card (30) unique to each user and having stored thereon customized transaction information predefined by the user of the card, a transaction terminal (10) comprising a card reader (13) for reading information stored in the card, a display (15) for displaying user customized menu comprising one or more of the custom transactions based on information read from the card. Customized transactions are executed in response to user selection from the displayed menu.

L'invention porte sur un système de guichet automatique fonctionnant au moyen d'une carte d'identification (30) propre à chacun des usagers, sur laquelle sont enregistrées des informations relatives à des types de transactions personnalisées prédéfinies par l'utilisateur de la carte et comprenant un poste de transaction (10) muni d'un lecteur (13) effectuant la lecture des informations enregistrées sur la carte, et un écran (15) de présentation du menu personnalisé où figurent un ou plusieurs types de transactions personnalisées sur la base d'informations lues sur la carte.
