An umbrella assembly (10) comprising a base (12), a pole (14) mounted on the base (12) extending upwardly and outwardly from the base (12), a carriage (16) slidably mounted on the pole (14), and an umbrella frame (20) including an adapter (18) releasably engagable with the carriage (16). A handle (28) is rotatably mounted on the pole (14), and a cable (136) is coupled at one end to the handle (28) and coupled at another end to the umbrella frame (20) such that by rotating the handle (28), the cable (136) is retracted and the umbrella (20) is opened, and by rotating the handle (28) in the opposite direction, the cable (136) is released, the umbrella (20) is collapsed, and the carriage (16) is slidable along the pole (14). The cable (136) is coupled to the adapter (18) such that the adapter (18) may be releasably secured to the umbrella frame (20) to allow the umbrella frame (20) to be tilted and secured in an inclined position.
L'invention concerne un ensemble (10) formant parapluie. Cet ensemble comprend un socle (12), un axe (14) fixé sur le socle (12) s'étendant vers le haut et vers l'extérieur à partir de ce dernier, un chariot (16) fixé en vue de son coulissement sur cet axe (14), et un cadre (20) de parapluie comportant un adaptateur (18) pouvant se mettre en prise de manière amovible avec le chariot (16). Un câble (136) est couplé à une extrémité à cette poignée (28), et à son autre extrémité, il est relié au cadre (20) du parapluie de telle sorte que, lorsque l'on tourne la poignée (28), le câble (136) se rétracte et le parapluie (20) s'ouvre et inversement, en tournant la poignée (28) dans le sens contraire, on relâche le câble (136), le parapluie (20) se referme et le chariot (16) peut coulisser le long de l'axe (14). Ce câble (136) est couplé à l'adaptateur (18) de telle sorte que ce dernier peut être fixé de manière amovible au cadre (20) du parapluie pour permettre au cadre (20) du parapluie de s'incliner et d'être fixé dans cette position inclinée.
