READILY-DISPERSIBLE, HYDROCOLLOID-CONTAINING AGGLOMERATES AND PROCESS THEREFORE ABSTRACT Fine particles of hydrocolloid material, such as pregelatinized starch or pectin, are sprayed with a water solution of a wetting agent, such as triacetin or glycerol, and then agglomerated, such as in a fluidized bed agglomerator.
