A control sinker is taught for selecting and controlling knitting movements of tools in a knitting machine driven by the relative movements of a plate support and a cam support. The control plate can be forced into an engagement position with an output drive edge of an output drive component to transmit the deflection drive by the action of a minimum pre-tension of an extended rod-shaped control spring. The free end of the spring is supported to slide on the base of a guide groove accepting the control plate, and is constructed as a one-piece spring steel component to simplify manufacture and increase its wear resistance. The spring width (h) measured perpendicularly to a neutral elastic line of the control spring at the base side of the spring at which it bears on the basic body of the plate is greater than at the free end of the spring by which the spring is supported on the base of its guide groove. The spring bears on the basic body of the plate via a smooth curve widening the base region.
Platine de commande (17) permettant de sélectionner et de commander les mouvements de tricotage des outils de tricotage d'une machine à tricoter, dont l'entraînement se fait par les mouvements relatifs d'un support de platine (11) et d'un support de came (12). Par l'action d'une prétension minimale du ressort de commande ayant la forme générale d'une barre allongée (37), dont l'extrémité libre repose coulissante au fond d'une rainure de guidage (16) recevant la platine de commande, cette dernière est amenée à prendre une position dans laquelle un pied de chasse (61) entre en contact avec un bord de chasse d'un élément came de chasse (73) du support de came (12) de façon à transmettre la force de déviation. La platine est configurée de façon à simplifier la fabrication et à accroître sa résistance à l'usure, en particulier son ressort de commande (37) est conçu comme une partie ressort en acier monobloc. La largeur (h) du ressort de commande (37) mesurée perpendiculairement à la ligne de flexion neutre (54), au niveau de la base du ressort sur laquelle celui-ci se raccorde au corps principal de la platine (18), est supérieure à celle mesurée au niveau de l'extrémité libre du ressort (48), par laquelle le ressort (37) repose au fond (25) de la rainure de guidage (16). Le ressort (17) se raccorde à la base du corps principal de la platine par une courbure régulière qui élargit ladite base.
