A process for producing an cumene product having a purity of at least 99.50 percent based on the weight of cumene present in the product by the propylation of the benzene present in non-extracted hydrocarbon composition feed, e.g., non-extracted reformate. The non-extracted hydrocarbon composition feed is substantially free of both C4- hydrocarbons and the C7+ aromatic hydrocarbons and contains benzene and benzene coboilers. The process is carried out in the liquid phase, in the presence of an acid-active catalyst containing MCM-22 family molecular sieve, and under specified conditions.
L'invention concerne un procédé de production d'un produit de cumène ayant une pureté d'au moins 99,50 % par rapport au poids du cumène présent dans le produit grâce à la propylation du benzène présent dans une alimentation de composition d'hydrocarbure non extraite, par exemple un produit réformé non extrait. L'alimentation de composition d'hydrocarbure non extraite est essentiellement exempte d'hydrocarbures C4- et d'hydrocarbures aromatiques C7+ et contient du benzène et des produits de cuisson du benzène. Le procédé est mis en AEuvre dans la phase liquide, en présence d'un catalyseur acide actif contenant un tamis moléculaire de la famille MCM-22, et dans les conditions spécifiées.
