It is intended to provide antibodies against fibroblast growth factor 23. Namely, antibodies having an activity of controlling phosphate metabolism or vitamin D metabolism and corresponding to the following (a), (b) or (c), which are obtained by immunizing an animal with a polypeptide comprising the amino acid sequence represented by SEQ ID NO:1 or a polypeptide comprising an amino acid sequence derived from the amino acid sequence represented by SEQ ID NO:1 by deletion, substitution or addition of one to several amino acids and having a fibroblast growth factor 23 activity. (a) An antibody recognizing an amino acid sequence of the 180- to 194 positions or the 237- to 251-positions in the amino acid sequence represented by SEQ ID NO:1. (b) An antibody produced by a hybridoma represented by the accession number FERM BP-7838, FERM BP-7839, FERM BP-7840 or FERM BP-8268. (c) An antibody competing with an antibody produced by a hybridoma represented by the accession number FERM BP-7838, FERM BP-7839, FERM BP-7840 or FERM BP-8268.
La présente invention concerne des anticorps dirigés contre le facteur de croissance 23 des fibroblastes. L'invention concerne plus particulièrement des anticorps dont l'activité est de contrôler le métabolisme du phosphate ou celui de la vitamine D et correspondant aux anticorps (a), (b) ou (c) énoncés à la suite, qui s'obtiennent par immunisation d'un animal avec un polypeptide comprenant la séquence d'acide aminé représentée par SEQ ID NO:1 ou un polypeptide comprenant une séquence d'acide aminé dérivée de la séquence d'acide aminé représentée par SEQ ID NO:1 par suppression, substitution ou addition d'un à plusieurs acides aminés et présentant une activité facteur de croissance 23 des fibroblastes. (a) Un anticorps reconnaissant une séquence d'acide aminé des positions 180 à 194 ou 237 à 251 dans la séquence d'acide aminé représentée par SEQ ID NO:1. (b) Un anticorps produit par un hybridome représenté par le N· d'accession FERM BP-7838, FERM BP-7839, FERM BP-7840 ou FERM BP-8268. (c) Un anticorps en compétition avec un anticorps produit par un hybridome représenté par le N· d'accession FERM BP-7838, FERM BP-7839, FERM BP-7840 ou FERM BP-8268.
