A computer method and system for creating Autolists and performing querying. A server (200) stores text files. A first Autolist (201) is created and provides a relevant query definition that is used to search for corresponding data files satisfying the Autolist query definition on the server (200). A second Autolist (202) may be created to search for text files stored on the server (200) and also satisfy a second query definition. Modification of the scope of search based on modification of the first query may be automatically reflected in the scope of search for the second query.
La présente invention concerne un procédé informatique et un système informatique permettant de créer des autolistes et d'exécuter des interrogations. Un serveur (200) stocke des fichiers textes. Une première autoliste (201) est créée de manière à fournir une définition d'interrogation pertinente qui est utilisée pour rechercher des fichiers de données correspondants répondant à la définition d'interrogation de l'autoliste sur le serveur (200). Une seconde autoliste (202) peut être créée de manière à rechercher des fichiers textes stockés sur le serveur (200) et répondant également à une seconde définition d'interrogation. La modification de l'étendue de la recherche sur la base de la modification de la première interrogation peut être automatiquement répercutée sur l'étendue de la recherche de la seconde interrogation.
