A self-drilling anchor (10) for use in a friable material (1) comprises a body (12) having an axis (13), a flanged rear end (14) , a drilling front end (16) and a generally cylindrical portion (18) therebetween having an outer surface (20) with a thread (22) disposed thereon, wherein the body forks, beginning at a predetermined distance (SD) from the flanged rear end, into a first leg (24) and a second leg (26), the first leg extending forwardly into a drilling tip (28) and having a generally rearward facing shoulder (30) angled obtusely outwardly with respect to the axis, wherein the body (12) has an axial bore (32) for receiving an elongate fastener (2), the axial bore (32) extending substantially through the flanged end (14) and the generally cylindrical portion (18) and leading to the generally rearward facing shoulder (30), wherein the anchor (10) has a drilling mode wherein the second leg (26) nests behind the generally rearward facing shoulder (30) of the first leg (24), and an anchoring mode wherein the legs are pivoted apart from one another.
La présente invention concerne une pièce d'ancrage autoperceuse (10) destinée à un usage dans une matière friable (1). Cette pièce d'ancrage comprend un corps (12) qui présente un axe (13), une extrémité arrière à bride (14), une extrémité avant de perçage (16) et une partie généralement cylindrique (18) située entre ceux-ci. Cette partie généralement cylindrique présente une surface extérieure (20) sur laquelle un filetage (22) est ménagé. Le corps vient en prise, en commençant à une distance prédéfinie (SD) de l'extrémité arrière à bride, dans une première patte (24) et dans une seconde patte (26). La première patte s'étend vers l'avant dans une pointe de perçage (28) et présente un épaulement (30) qui fait généralement face vers l'arrière et forme un angle obtus vers l'extérieur avec l'axe. Le corps (12) présente un alésage axial (32) conçu pour recevoir un élément de fixation allongé (2). Cet alésage axial (32) s'étend principalement à travers l'extrémité à bride (14) et la partie généralement cylindrique (18) et mène à l'épaulement (30) qui fait généralement face vers l'arrière. La pièce d'ancrage (10) selon cette invention présente un mode de perçage dans lequel la seconde patte (26) loge derrière l'épaulement (30) qui fait généralement face vers l'arrière de la première patte (24) et un mode d'ancrage dans lequel les pattes sont écartées l'une de l'autre par pivotement.
