It is intended to provide an antibody by which metastin or its derivative can be sensitively and specifically quantified; a method of detecting and quantifying metastin or its derivative using the antibody; and diagnostics (for example, a diagnostic for pregnancy) using the same. More specifically speaking, an antibody specifically reacting with a peptide fragment in the N- terminal or C-terminal side of a polypeptide having the amino acid sequence represented by SEQ ID NO:1 or its derivative; a method of detecting and quantifying metastin or its derivative using the antibody; and diagnostics using the same.
La présente invention concerne un anticorps qui permet de quantifier, de manière sensible et spécifique, la métastine ou un dérivé de cette dernière; un procédé de détection et de quantification de la métastine ou de son dérivé au moyen de l'anticorps; et un moyen de diagnostic (par exemple, un moyen de diagnostic de la grossesse) dans lequel on l'utilise. De manière plus spécifique, on utilise un anticorps qui réagit de manière spécifique avec un fragment peptidique dans le côté N-terminal ou C-terminal d'un polypeptide comprenant la séquence d'acides aminés représentée par SEQ ID NO:1 ou son dérivé; un procédé de détection et de quantification de la métastine ou de son dérivé au moyen de l'anticorps; et un moyen de diagnostic dans lequel on l'utilise.
