The present invention relates to highly active glycoproteins with specific sialylation degrees, a pharmaceutical composition for use in diagnosis or therapy comprising the glycoproteins, a method for the determination of highly active glycoproteins and of the conditions for their production, a method for producing the highly active glycoproteins, and a method for differential sialylation of secretory glycoproteins. The invention also relates to the use of the recombinantly expressed highly active glycoproteins for biological purposes and for prophylactic and/or therapeutic treatment or diagnosis of diseases, particularly bone marrow transplantation, neutropenia, cytopenia, AML and myelodysplastic syndromes, cancer, HIV and/or diseases of hematopoietic systems.
La présente invention concerne des glycoprotéines extrêmement actives présentant des degrés de sialylation spécifiques, une composition pharmaceutique utilisée dans un diagnostic ou une thérapie impliquant lesdites glycoprotéines, une méthode servant à déterminer des glycoprotéines extrêmement actives et les conditions de leur production, et une méthode de sialylation différentielle de glycoprotéines sécrétrices. Ladite invention a aussi trait à l'utilisation de glycoprotéines extrêmement actives exprimées de manière recombinante utilisées à des fins biologiques et dans le traitement ou le diagnostic prophylactique et/ou thérapeutique de maladies, notamment, lors d'une transplantation de moelle osseuse, de neutropénie, de cytopénie, de leucémie myéloïde grave et de syndromes myélodysplasiques, de cancer, du VIH et/ou de maladies de systèmes hématopoïétiques.
