The invention provides a container closure (2) assembly comprising: a container neck (1) having side walls defining an opening at one end thereof and a lip (5) extending around the opening, wherein an inner surface (7) of the side walls proximate to said lip (5) is inwardly tapered; a closure (2) for said neck (1), the closure (2) having a base portion (3) and a skirt portion; a first screw thread on the neck (1); a second screw thread on an inner surface (7) of the skirt of the closure (2); said first and second screw threads being configure to enable a user to secure, remove and resecure the closure (2) into a sealing position on the neck (1) by rotation of the cap on the neck (1); a sealing plug (8) extending from said base portion (3) of the closure (2) inside and substantially concentric with said skirt portion of the closure (2), wherein the sealing plug (8) comprises a plurality of circumferential sealing ribs (9) on an outer surface of said sealing plug (8) for engagement with said inner surface (7) of the container neck (1) when the closure (2) is secured on the container neck (1); at least one flexible sealing fin (10, 11) between the sealing plug (8) and the closure (2) skirt for engagement with the lip (5) of the container when the closure (2) is secured on the container neck (1); and at least one circumferential sealing (14) rib on an inner surface of said closure (2) for engagement with an outer surface of the container neck (1) proximate to said lip (5) when the closure (2) is secured on the container neck (1). The assembly is especially suitable for forming gas-tight seals on carbonated beverage containers.
L'invention porte sur un ensemble de fermeture (2) de récipient comprenant : un goulot (1) de récipient présentant des parois latérales formant une ouverture à une extrémité de celui-ci et une lèvre (5) qui s'étend autour de l'ouverture, une surface intérieure (7) des parois latérales situées près de ladite lèvre (5) étant effilée vers l'intérieur ; une fermeture (2) destinée audit goulot (1), cette fermeture (2) présentant une partie de base (3) et d'une partie de jupe ; un premier filetage de vis placé sur le goulot (1) ; un deuxième filetage de vis placé sur une surface intérieure (7) de la jupe de la fermeture (2) ; les premier et deuxième filetages sont configurés de manière à permettre à un utilisateur de fixer, d'enlever et de fixer à nouveau la fermeture (2) dans une position de fermeture sur ledit goulot (1) par rotation du bouchon sur ledit goulot (1) ; un obturateur d'étanchéité (8) s'étendant à partir de la partie de base (3) de la fermeture (2) jusqu'à l'intérieur et sensiblement concentrique par rapport à ladite partie de jupe de la fermeture (2), l'obturateur d'étanchéité (8) comprenant une pluralité de nervures d'étanchéité circonférentielles (9) sur une surface extérieure dudit obturateur d'étanchéité (8) destinée à venir en prise avec ladite surface intérieure (7) du goulot (1) du récipient une fois la fermeture (2) fixée sur le goulot (1) du récipient; au moins une languette d'étanchéité flexible (10, 11) située entre l'obturateur d'étanchéité (8) et la jupe de la fermeture (2) pour venir en prise avec la lèvre (5) du récipient lorsque la fermeture (2) est fixée sur le goulot (1) du récipient, et au moins une nervure (14) d'étanchéité circonférentielle située sur une surface intérieure de ladite fermeture (2) afin de venir en prise avec une surface extérieure du goulot (1) du récipient près de ladite lèvre lorsque la fermeture (2) est fixée sur le goulot (1) du récipient. L'ensemble convient tout particulièrement pour former des joints étanches au gaz sur des récipients des boissons gazeuses.
