In one embodiment herein there is provided a hot melt vulcanizate composition made by the process comprising: a) producing a reaction product (i) from (1) at least one first resin selected from the group consisting of thermoplastic polymer and elastomeric polymer, (2) at least one unsaturated carboxylic acid anhydride, (3) at least one alkylamine possessing two or more amine functionalities, and optionally (4) at least one free-radical generating catalyst, and wherein said reaction product (i) optionally further comprises, at least one first additive; and, optionally, b) blending said reaction product (i) with at least one second resin selected from the group consisting of thermoplastic polymer and elastomeric polymer, provided that at least one of second resin is different from at least one of first resin and, optionally, at least one second additive; c) curing said reaction product (i), wherein reaction product (i) has been blended as in (b) above, or not, to produce a hot melt vulcanizate composition; and, optionally, d) adding at least one third additive to the hot melt vulcanizate composition.
La présente invention concerne, dans un mode de réalisation, une composition de vulcanisat thermofusible produite selon un procédé consistant : a) à produire un produit de réaction (i) à partir (1) d'au moins une première résine sélectionnée dans le groupe comprenant un polymère thermoplastique et un polymère élastomère, (2) d'au moins un anhydride d'acide carboxylique insaturé, (3) d'au moins une alkylamine possédant au moins deux fonctionnalités amine et éventuellement (4) d'au moins un catalyseur générateur de radicaux libres, lequel produit de réaction (i) comprend éventuellement aussi au moins un premier additif; et éventuellement b) à mélanger ledit produit de réaction (i) à au moins une deuxième résine sélectionnée dans le groupe comprenant un polymère thermoplastique et un polymère élastomère, sous réserve que la ou les deuxièmes résines soient différentes de la ou des premières résines, et éventuellement à au moins un deuxième additif; c) à faire durcir ledit produit de réaction (i), le produit de réaction (i) ayant été mélangé ou non comme à l'étape (b) susmentionnée, afin de produire une composition de vulcanisat thermofusible; et éventuellement d) à ajouter au moins un troisième additif à la composition de vulcanisat thermofusible.
