The invention concerns a method for transmitting data between a communication management unit on board an aircraft and a ground air control system, characterized in that it comprises the following steps: a) receiving alarms from an onboard monitoring system, via a communication bus, b) when an alarm is detected, formatting the data contained in the alarm into a predetermined report format, and sending said report to the ground system.
