A light stake for positioning a series of decorative bulbs in sockets along a wire connecting the sockets at predetermined positions above the ground. The light stake has a base having an elongated post extending perpendicularly therefrom and a locking mechanism on the base movable between an open position and a locked position. The locking mechanism or mechanisms cooperate with the base fixedly to position the wire connecting a series of decorative bulb sockets with respect to the base when the locking mechanism is in the locked position thereof and the wire is trapped against the base by the locking mechanism. The invention does not rely on a friction fit between the light socket and the base to keep the sockets properly oriented.
Support de dispositif lumineux permettant de fixer une série d'ampoules décoratives dans des douilles, le long d'un fil auquel sont connectées les douilles à des positions prédéterminées au-dessus du sol. Le support consiste en une base portant un poteau installé perpendiculairement et en un dispositif de blocage situé sur la base et se déplaçant de la position bloquée à la position débloquée. Le ou les dispositifs de blocage fixés sur la base servent à positionner le fil connectant une série de douilles de lampes à la base lorsque le dispositif de blocage est en position bloquée et que le fil est immobilisé contre la base par le mécanisme de verrouillage. L'invention proposée ne nécessite pas un ajustement serré entre la douille et la base pour maintenir la douille orientée correctement.
