Spacers for use with actuator casings are disclosed. An example spacer (102) includes a ring-shaped member (140, 142) defining a central opening and configured to form a part of an actuator casing and to space first and second actuator casing portions (106, 108) a predetermined distance when the first and second casing portions are coupled to the ring-shaped member. The ring- shaped member (142) includes a first surface surrounding the central opening configured to engage the first casing portion (106) and a second surface surrounding the central opening configured to engage the second casing portion (108) . Each of the first and second surfaces includes a plurality of apertures configured to receive threaded fasteners (114) to attach the first and second actuator casing portions (106, 108) to the ring-shaped member (140, 142).
