ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A plurality of webs drawn from respective supply rolls forms a core stack which is passed through a single-level press to press boards from the press stack formed by applying cover foils to the core band. Once the pressed board forming part of the band is advanced from the press, the pressed board can be cut and trimmed from the band.
