The invention pertains to a process and a device for the speech-controlled remote control of electrical consumers by means of speech commands entered via a standard, commercially available PC (1). The PC (1) stores the control sequencesfor the sequencing control of the individual electrical consumers (21, 22, 23, 24, ..., 2n). The control sequences are infrared-encoded signals enabling any electrical consumers featuring an infrared remote control unit to be controlled. Units which do not feature a remote control unit can be at least switched on and off via an upstream infrared receiver. A graphical user interface which is capable of beingdisplayed on a monitor of the PC (1) forms an image display which is assigned toeach individual electrical consumer, said image display being capable of being assigned the respective speech commands entered and infrared-encoded signals
Un procédé et un dispositif servent à télécommander vocalement des consommateurs électriques au moyen d'instructions orales saisies par un ordinateur personnel (1) disponible dans le commerce. L'ordinateur personnel (1) enregistre des séquences de commande du fonctionnement des consommateurs électriques individuels (21, 22, 23, 24, ..., 2n). Les séquences de commande sont constituées de signaux infrarouges codés qui permettent de commander n'importe quels consommateurs électriques disposant d'une unité de télécommande aux infrarouges. Les appareils qui ne disposent pas d'une telle unité peuvent au moins être mis hors et sous tension au moyen d'un récepteur d'infrarouges connecté en amont de l'appareil. Une interface graphique d'utilisateur qui peut être visualisée sur le moniteur de l'ordinateur personnel (1) forme un affichage visuel associé à chaque consommateur électrique à laquelle on peut attribuer les instructions vocales saisies et les signaux infrarouges codés.
