A method and a system of measuring an object in a two-dimensional digital image are provided. The object is moved to cover the portion that is outside a viewing window, and a first image of the object, which is captured before the object is moved, and a second image of the object, which is captured after the object is moved are used in measuring. Displacement of the image is detected by comparing the position of one reference point of the object in the first image and the position of the same reference point of the object in the second image. And the geometrical data of the object is calculated with the displacement data. The second image is overlapped with the first image by finding the position at which sum of the luminosity value of the first image and the reversed luminosity value of the second image is minimized.

L'invention concerne un procédé et un système de mesure d'un objet dans une image numérique bidimensionnelle. L'objet est déplacé pour couvrir la partie qui se situe à l'extérieur d'un hublot. Une première image de l'objet, saisie avant le déplacement de l'objet, et une seconde image de l'objet, saisie après le déplacement de l'objet, sont utilisées pour la mesure. Le déplacement de l'image est détecté par comparaison de la position d'un point de référence de l'objet dans la première image à la position du même point de référence de l'objet dans la seconde image. Les données géométriques de l'objet sont calculées conjointement avec les données de déplacement. La détermination du point où la somme de la valeur de luminosité de la première image et la valeur de luminosité inverse de la seconde image est réduite au minimum permet à la première image de recouvrir la seconde image.
