A method for a base station to obtain radio capability information of a User Equipment (UE) in long term evolution system comprises that: a mobility management entity sends an initial context setup request message to the base station, and the base station determines whether the received initial context setup request message contains an Information Element (IE) of forbidden inter radio access technologies; when contains, the base station writes the radio access technology types which are not included in the IE of forbidden inter radio access technologies into a query message, and sends the query message to the UE; otherwise, the base station writes all radio access technologies supported by protocol into a query message and sends the query message to the UE; after receiving the query message, the UE sends the UE radio capability information of radio access technologies supported by the UE itself to the base station. The above method avoids the blindness of writing query message for the base station, which reduces the overhead of the air interface, thereby shortens the connection delay of the UE in the long term evolution system.
L'invention concerne un procédé permettant à une station de base d'obtenir les informations de capacités radio d'équipements utilisateurs (UE) dans un système du type évolution à long terme (LTE) et le procédé comprend : l'envoi par une entité de gestion de mobilité (MME) d'un message de demande de configuration de contexte initial à la station de base (BS), et l'évaluation par la BS du fait de savoir si le message de demande de configuration du contexte initial reçu contient un Élément d'Information (IE) concernant les Technologies Inter-Accès Radio (RAT) Interdites; si oui, la BS inscrit les RAT qui ne sont pas incluses dans l'IE des technologies inter-RAT interdites dans un message d'interrogation, et envoie le message de requête à l'UE et, dans le cas contraire, la BS consigne toutes les RAT prises en charge par le protocole dans un message de requête et envoie le message de requête à l'UE; après avoir reçu le message de requête, l'UE envoie à la BS les informations de capacité radio de l'UE concernant les RAT qu'il prend en charge. Le procédé de l'invention évite le caractère aveugle de l'inscription du message de requête destiné à la BS et réduit la surcharge de l'interface hertzienne, cela diminuant donc le retard de connexion de l'UE dans un système LTE.
