The invention concerns a method for making a sheet of paper comprising at least two crimped cotton-wool-like cellulose plies (20, 40). It consists in: unwinding a first ply (20) in the form of a strip from a reel, embossing it on an embossing unit (10, 12) and forming protuberances at its surface, unwinding a second ply (40) in the form of a strip from a reel, guiding it downstream of the embossing unit (10, 12), superposing the two strips, with their protuberances facing inwards, and in applying a linking means (14, 16) so as to make the two strips integral with each other. Said method is characterised in that immediately upstream of said linking means (14, 16), a tension regulating means (18) is applied in the machine direction on one of the strips, such that the two strips have the same elastic deformation in the machine direction when the linking means is applied. The invention also concerns a product obtained by said method.
L'invention porte sur un procédé de fabrication d'une feuille de papier comprenant au moins deux plis (20,40) d'ouate de cellulose crêpée. Il consiste à dérouler un premier pli (20) sous forme de bande depuis un dévidoir, à le gaufrer sur un groupe de gaufrage (10,12) et former des protubérances à sa surface, à dérouler un second pli (40) sous forme de bande depuis un dévidoir, à le guider en aval du groupe de gaufrage (10,12) à superposer les deux bandes, protubérances vers l'intérieur, et à appliquer un moyen de liaison (14,16) de façon à rendre les deux plis solidaires l'un de l'autre. Le procédé est caractérisé en ce qu'immédiatement en amont du dit moyen de liaison (14,16), on applique un moyen régulateur de tension (18) dans le sens marche sur l'une des deux bandes, de sorte que les deux bandes présentent une même déformation élastique sens marche lorsqu'on applique le moyen de liaison. L'invention porte également sur un produit obtenu selon ce procédé.
